Potwory i monstra

Dzisiaj scenka z piwnicy lub strychu. Albo dna serca.

I kilka słów w temacie monstrów od celebrytów. Poczynając od najbardziej znanego cytatu o otchłani, w którą nie można się wślipiać bez konsekwencji...

'Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you.'
(Friedrich Nietzsche)

'Heroes need monsters to establish their heroic credentials. You need something scary to overcome.'
(Margaret Atwood)

'The world is run by monsters and you have to deal with them. Some of them run countries, some of them run banks, some of them run news corporations.'
(Ken Livingstone )

'I consider it useless and tedious to represent what exists, because nothing that exists satisfies me. Nature is ugly, and I prefer the monsters of my fancy to what is positively trivial.'
(Charles Baudelaire)

'Monsters exist, but they are too few in number to be truly dangerous. More dangerous are the common men, the functionaries ready to believe and to act without asking questions.'
(Primo Levi)

“O, beware, my lord, of jealousy;
It is the green-ey'd monster, which doth mock
The meat it feeds on.”
(William Shakespeare / Othello)

'What strange phenomena we find in a great city, all we need do is stroll about with our eyes open. Life swarms with innocent monsters.'
(Charles Baudelaire)

“We make our own monsters, then fear them for what they show us about ourselves.”
(Mike Carey)

'Everyone carries around his own monsters.'
(Richard Pryor)

“Beware the dark pool at the bottom of our hearts. In its icy, black depths dwell strange and twisted creatures it is best not to disturb.”
(Sue Grafton)

    1. Nie dysponuję białym, żelowym pisakiem. Poza tym to chyba niepoprawne politycznie tak rysować - białym po czarnym, jakże to tak?
